Back to School

Here at the end of summer, we are still blessed with lovely farm flowers. West Farms in Lewisburg, WV is one our favorite summer cut flower suppliers. Not only do they have the most beautiful blossoms, but buying local sustainable product makes us just "green with ivy".

Check out their profile at http://greenbrierwv.com/explore/attraction/west_farms_flowers/.West Farm’s Flowers Pam West is pictured here with her husband harvesting dahlia. Pam will be delivering a new set of bright summer blossoms here to the shop tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26th. Stop in and see her pretty fresh cut flowers in our cooler. Or better yet, ask us to create a special vase of these fabulous blossoms for someone special. (Even if that someone special is you!)

Happy 4th of July

My husband Jeff and I spent some time at The Homestead resort for the Fourth of July. No, we weren't lounging by the pool sipping cool drinks...

We were creating these fun red, white and blue balloon decorations for their festivities on the Casino Lawn. I'm not sure about Jeff, but I had fun. Sure it was hot and I was pretty melted by the time we were through, but I so enjoyed the kids (young and old) who stopped to watch.

If we are invited to provide balloons again next year, I'd like to get even more creative. We choose the columns on only a few days notice. They do always give such an impact.

Hope everyone had a blessed holiday with family and friends!

Here comes the Bride

We have been blessed to have our busiest Spring wedding season ever! I was just downloading pictures from the Country Garden camera and wanted to post a few of the lovely floral designs we created for a few of these special weddings. Enjoy and be watching for more photos as we continue providing flowers for more weddings throughout the year.
